Privacy Policy

Klipo is a small studio for turning ideas into moving pictures. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain words, what happens to your information when you use Klipo AI Video Generator. The app is provided by Gerd Nordenskiöld ("we", "us"). There is no sign-in and no account. You open the app and start creating.

The short version

We collect only what we need to make your videos and to know whether your subscription is active. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number. We do not sell your information. Payments are handled by Apple, not by us.

What stays out of the studio

Klipo has no user accounts, so we do not collect login details, profile information or a password. We never see your card number or other payment details. Apple handles those when you make a purchase. We do not ask for your contacts or your precise location.

What comes into the studio

When you create a video, the prompts, text and any media you choose to submit are sent from the app for processing. This is the material Klipo needs to build your generation. Limited technical and purchase-related information, such as an app-specific identifier and your subscription status, is also processed so the app can unlock the features you have paid for.

Where your videos are made

Generations run on our own backend. Your prompts and submitted media go to our servers, the video is produced there, and the result is sent back to your device. We do not pass your creative inputs to an outside AI provider to produce your video.

The partners behind the curtain

Klipo relies on two third-party services. Apple App Store distributes the app and processes all purchases and subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple's own privacy policy applies to what Apple collects. Adapty, when used, helps us manage subscriptions. It tracks subscription status and provides subscription analytics, such as whether a trial converted or a plan renewed, so the right features are unlocked and we can understand how our plans perform. Adapty's own privacy policy applies to its processing.

Purchases and subscriptions

Every purchase and subscription goes through Apple. Apple charges you, renews your plan and handles refunds under its own terms. We receive confirmation of your subscription status, either directly from Apple or through Adapty, but not your financial details.

How long things are kept

We keep your prompts, submitted media and generated results on our backend only as long as needed to create and deliver your video and to keep the service working properly. After that, they are deleted. Subscription records held by Apple and Adapty are kept according to their own retention practices.

Your say over your data

You can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete it. Because Klipo has no accounts, please include enough detail for us to find the relevant data, such as the approximate time of a generation or your purchase details. We will respond within a reasonable time. For data held by Apple or Adapty, you can also use the options those services provide.

Changes to this policy

If the way Klipo handles information changes, we will update this policy and revise the effective date below. Continuing to use the app after an update means the new version applies.
